At Artsphere, we believe education should be meaningful, creative, and transformative. Every learner deserves the chance to discover their talents, grow their confidence, and see their place in the world.

Through our Character in Practice programme, we chart the development of key personal qualities such as grit, resilience, optimism, self-control, gratitude, social intelligence, and curiosity. These qualities are embedded within creative projects that help learners connect personal growth to real-world outcomes.

We are inspired by the vision of Sir Ken Robinson, who challenged education to nurture creativity and unlock potential rather than constrain it. Our approach combines creativity with functional skills — offering Functional Skills Certificates at Levels 1 and 2, the Arts Award up to Level 3, and additional employment-focused certificates such as AI courses with Google.

To support digital access, we aim to provide every student with a tablet to keep upon successful completion of their planned programme, ensuring they continue to thrive through creativity, technology, and transferable skills. We will also show the work of our students in exhibitions and celebrate success each year with our graduation ceremonies. Success will be different for us all but however we grow we believe this should be celebrated.

Artsphere is more than a learning hub — it is a place where character, creativity, and opportunity meet, helping learners re-engage in education, develop employability, and build futures with resilience and imagination.

Our ethos

“If all you had was academic ability, you wouldn't have been able to get out of bed this morning. In fact, there wouldn't have been a bad to get out of. No one could have made one. You could have written about possibility of one, but not have constructed it.”

Sir Ken Robinson
